The 'Battle of the Bears' Trading Rules

Permitted Trades: Short Trades Only
Diversity Requirement: Trade a minimum of 5 different securities.
Trading Limits: A maximum of 5 round trips per symbol per day.
Holding Stocks: Stocks can be held overnight.
Max Size Rule: Limit of 20,000 shares per trade to prevent last-minute, high-risk moves.
Contest Timing: Begins at market open on Wednesday, August 21, and ends at market close on Friday, August 23. Trading is limited to regular trading hours.
Simulated Account: Participants will use a simulated cash account with $100,000 (no margin).

Competition Basics

• Each participant begins with a simulated CASH trading account of $100,000.

• The goal is to grow this amount as much as possible within the contest duration.

Judging Criteria

At the end of the contest, all trades and accounts will undergo an audit. The winner will be announced after verification.

Note:

Winners residing in the United States are asked to submit a IRS Form W-9 for tax purposes.

All participants begin with a $100,000 "Battle of the Bears" simulated trading account for the contest All of your trades in the contest must be conducted in this contest account to be eligible and show on the leaderboard.

The "Battle of the Bears" account will appear in the Brokerage+ module for all registered contestants on August 21, 2024.
